Biography
Dr. Jianhua Zhu received his PhD in Institute of Insect Sciences, Zhejiang University, China. He is currently working as Associate Professor of Entomology in College of Forestry at Southwest Forestry University, China.
Research Interest
Dr. Zhu’s research is primarily focused on the parasitoid-host interactions, with particular reference to the physiological functions of immunosuppression factors from parasitoids and molecular mechanism underlying the regulation of the host by parasitoids. He is also interested in the functions of olfactory-related genes. Additional studies also seek to explore the function and evolution of insect microRNA.
