Biography
Sun Xiaodan, born in 1980, was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Engineering and Protection Engineering for Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology. In December 2013, he was sent to the National Geological Survey of USGS. Now Associate Professor and Master Instructor of Civil Engineering College of Southwest Jiaotong University. Engaged in engineering seismology research, the main research areas based on stochastic theory and wave theory of strong earthquakes damage field simulation. Host, participate in national and ministerial level scientific research project 8, published more than 20 academic papers, including SCI journals 5, EI retrieval 7, ISTP search 1.
Research Interest
The main research direction: (1) Simulation of the destruction of major projects by strong earthquakes. (2) Analysis of the strong earthquake risk of the line project crossing the active fault zone.
