Peng Wangqing

Biography

Since 1991, Mr. Peng has been working at Sun Yat-sen Cancer Center. Since 2010, he has been the Deputy Secretary of Party Committee. Back in 1991 Mr. Peng graduated from South China Normal University with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, then going on to obtain a second degree in Economics from Nanjing University in January 1998. Within that time, Mr. Peng also served as the deputy director for the executive of SYSUCC between 1994 and 1998. Mr. Peng then gained a further Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Singapore in 2003. Mr. Peng has authored 2 monographs and published 25 papers in many core journals ranging from health and economics to hospital management. As such, Mr. Peng has been invited to numerous hospitals in the country to share his skills and expertise in relation to fiscal distribution and hospital culture. He has also been the recipient of many prestigious funding awards. To name a few, the Fund for Scientific Research and Technology Department of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City Science and Technology Bureau Soft Science Fund, the Guangdong Provincial Medical Research Fund and the Fund for Higher Education Management of Sun Yat-sen.
