Biography
Prof. Yun Jingping specializes in tumor biology and molecular pathology of cancer. In 1985-1988, Prof. Yun Jingping served as a teaching assistant at Teaching and Research Section of Pathology in Hunan Medical University. In 1991-1998, he served as physician of Department of Pathology in Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center. Since 2001, he has been serving as an attending physician and then professor at Department of Pathology in Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center.
Research Interest
The role and significance of Nucleophosmin / B23, a protein capable of cell proliferation in the development of human tumors and how does it get involved in cell cycling and proliferation mechanism. The role and mechanism of miRNA in tumor development. Related researches on molecular pathology of tumor and molecular typing.
