Biography
Associate Professor in Natural Medicinal Chemistry and Natural Medicinal Analysis, Vice-director of institute of Natural Medicine & TCM. She received PhD degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Ochanomizu University in Japan in 1998.She has contributed to over 20 research projects, 23 patents and over 80 publications.
Research Interest
Her research interests are in: 1) Natural products chemistry, mainly on the medicinal plants; 2) Standard extracts and quality control of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including the fingerprint and the reference compounds study of TCM; 3) Modern isolation and analysis techniques of natural products; 4) Metabolites study of natural medicines in vivo; 5) Biochemistry and function of tea products.
