Biography
Ge Zhang, Associate Professor of microbe and biochemical pharmacy. Dr. Zhang graduated from Northwestern University in 1993 (B.S. microbiology), Chongqing University of Medical Sciences in 2000 (M.S. biochemistry and molecular biology) and Sun Yat-sen University in 2005 (Ph.D. neurobiology). During 1993-1997, she worked in Shanxi provincial hospital as a microbiology technician. In 2000, she joined in Sun Yat-sen University and as lecturer in 2004 and Associate Professor in 2010. Her research Interests are target-based anti-tumor drug and tumor-associated microbiology vaccine. In the past 5 years, she won three research grants from government, and published 10 papers.
