Biography
Jiaheng Tan, Associate Professor in Medicinal Chemistry. He received his BS degree in Applied Chemistry and PhD degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University. He became a faculty member in School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Sun Yat-sen University in 2008. His research interests are medicinal chemistry and chemical biology of nucleic acids. Currently, he mainly focuses on the identification of lead compounds and chemical probes for G-quadruplex nucleic acids. Till now, he has been awarded with two grants from NSFC. He has published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
