Biography
Jun Wang, Assistant Professor. She received PhD degree in 2001 from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. She teaches three courses for undergraduates: “chemistry of medicinal natural products”, “experiments of medicinal natural products”, and “spectroscopic methods in organic chemistry”. She also works on the isolation of marine natural products and traditional Chinese medicine. She has involved research projects funded by NSF or Guangdong Science Technology Department. She published over 20 papers and wrote three books in the areas of natural products chemistry. She was awarded the first prize of Guangdong Scientific and Technological Advancement Award in Marine Natural Products Chemistry in 2007.
