Lee Ting-mien

Biography

Ting-mien Lee is currently a research fellow at the Department of Philosophy of Sun Yat-Sen University (Zhuhai). Before joining the department, she was an assistant professor of the Department of Philosophy at Tunghai University. Lee received her B.A. in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University and M.A. in Philosophy from University of Leuven. She completed her Ph.D. in Sinology at University of Leuven. Her main research interest lies in the area of classical Chinese philosophy, with a specific focus on the interaction of language, power-struggle strategies, and moral theories in pre-Han and early Han China. Her second research area is the history of Mohism and Mohist studies.
