Lianquan Gu

Biography

Lianquan Gu, Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology and Organic Chemistry. He graduated in chemistry in 1964 from the Central China Normal University. From 1980 to 1983, he was a research associate in the State University of New York at Albany and Oklahoma State University. In 1989-1990, he was a visiting scientist of University of Pennsylvania. In 1997-1998, he was a visiting professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 1998-1999, he was a visiting research professor of Oklahoma State University. In 1992, he became a full professor of Sun Yat-sen University. He is a member of Editorial Board of Chinese Chemical Letters. He has published more than 200 papers，20 patents and 4 books. He has been a PI for more than 20 research projects funded by NSFC and Guangdong provincial government.
