Dr. Liu Chao is currently working as Associate professor of Institute of Human Virology,Sun Yat-sen University, Zhongshan School of Medicine.
Research Interest
1. Investigation on the molecular mechanism of the interaction between MOV10 and HIV-1 2. The mechanism and epigenetic regulation of HIV-1 latency. 3.The molecular and immune approaches to rebuild cellular and humoral immune system in HIV-1 patients receiving suppressive HAART. To this end, the antigen-specific CD8 or CD4 T-cell mediated cellular immune reaction will be investigated with various in vitro and in vivo models.
