Biography
Dr. Luo Zhida is now a research fellow at the Department of Philosophy (Zhuhai), Sun Yat-sen University. He received his BA and MA degree from Sun Yat-sen University and Ph.D. degree from University of Copenhagen, and he currently works in areas of social cognition and embodied cognition, primarily from a phenomenological perspective. While his research areas mainly center around continental philosophy with a focus on Husserlian phenomenology, his interest covers contemporary cognitive psychology and philosophy of mind. Dr. Luo has published several journal articles in phenomenology (mainly Husserl) and empathy, and taught two regular courses, including Introduction to Phenomenology and Critical Thinking.
