Biography
Lv Fangli is currently working as Professor, Dept. of Human Parasitology, Zhongshan School of Medicine, Key Laboratory of Tropical Disease Control, Ministry of Education, Sun Yat-sen University. From 2000.07-2005.08, Dr. Lu had been worked in the Dept of Microbiology/Medicine, Dartmouth Medical School, and the Laboratory of Malaria and Vector Research, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Visiting Scientist and Research Fellow, respectively. So far, Dr. Lu has been awarded 18 scientific grants and has published over 40 SCI papers, which has been cited over 500 times.
Research Interest
In recent years, Dr. Lu has mainly engaged in 1) Immune mechanism of Toxoplasma gondii infection, and 2) drug-resistant Plasmodium parasite polymorphism and molecular epidemiology studies.
