Biography
Dr. Lv received his Ph.D. in Parasitology from Xiangya School of Medicine,Central South University,China. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Zhongshan School of Medicine,SunYat-senUniversityin 2007, and researched as a visiting scholar at School ofMedicine, Wayne State University 2012-2013. Lv currently teaches Parasitology, Bioinformatics to undergraduate students and master candidates.He has published over 20 papers on prevention and control of angiostrongyliasis and schistosomiasis. Dr. Lv is the deputy secretary general of Guangdong Society of Parasitology and vice-chairman of Post-doctoral Fellowship of Guangdong Province, China.
Research Interest
Lv’s studies focusprimarily on pathogenesis and immunoregulatory mechanism activated by secretory/excretory products from parasites (e.g. Angiostrongyluscantonensis and Schistosomajaponicum) during the parasitic diseases
