Biography
Min Huang, Dean, Director and Professor of Institute of Clinical Pharmacology. He has served as president of Pharmacological Society of Guangdong, VP of Pharmaceutical Association of Guangdong, VP of Chinese Clinical Pharmacological Society, executive committee member of Chinese Pharmacological Society, and also served as board member of other pharmacological and pharmaceutical associations, editorial board of a number of pharmacy/pharmacology journals, as regular reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals, and been appointed to senior member of Drug Evaluation Committee of SFDA and member of China Pharmacopoeia Committee. Prof. Huang has continued interests and strong research background in racial and inter-individual difference in drug response, genetic polymorphism of drug metabolizing enzymes/transporters, personalized medicine and pharmacotherapy, pre-clinical and clinical pharmacokinetics evaluation, nuclear receptors/enzymes/transporters mediated drug-drug interaction and herb-drug interaction. Prof. Huang has been awarded more than 20 grants from Chinese government. He has published more than 100 papers and has authored over 80 papers in peer reviewed English journals. He supervises PhD and MS students in pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenetics and has more than 20 PhD student completions, and has trained and strengthened a research team in the field of pharmacogenetics and pharmacokinetics.
