Biography
Ke ZHAO is currently a post-doc fellow at the Department of Philosophy of Sun Yat-Sen University (Zhuhai). She obtained her Ph.D. from Nankai University in 2017 with a thesis on Leo Strauss’s Interpretation of Thomas Hobbes’s political philosophy. She is interested in Thomas Hobbes’s political philosophy, Leo Strauss’s thoughts and his interpretation of western political philosophy, “the quarrel between the ancients and the moderns”, and esotericism. Her work now focuses on esotericism.
