Biography

Zhao Dong, Chairman of Board of Supervisors of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Zhao is a professor-level senior accountant with a doctor’s degree. He was appointed as chief accountant and manager of financial assets department of CNPC International (Nile) Ltd. in July 2002; deputy chief accountant and executive deputy director of financial and capital operation department of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation in January 2005; deputy chief accountant and manager of financial and capital operation department of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation in April 2005; chief accountant of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation in June 2008; chief accountant of China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation and chief financial officer of PetroChina International Investment Company Limited in October 2009. He was appointed as vice general manager of CNPC Nile Company in September 2012 and general manager of CNPC Nile Company in August 2013. Mr. Zhao was appointed as chief financial officer of PetroChina Company Limited in November 2015. He has been a member of the Leading Party Member Group and chief accountant of China Petrochemical Corporation since November 2016ï¼›in June 2017, he was elected as Chairman of Board of Supervisors of Sinopec Corp.
