Darrin Webb

Biography

Darrin is a senior technology services executive with over 25 years of experience building and transforming businesses in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe. He has deep experience working with strategic customer and partner organisations in a wide diversity of industries, combined with a very strong track record of successfully delivering IT outsourcing and cloud based ICT Services. Darrin has most recently been the driving force behind the growth of Telstra’s Network Applications and Services business in Australia, which focuses on delivering a wide variety of integrated network based applications and services to enterprise and government customers. He successfully led the delivery of Telstra’s largest ever single customer program of work & the largest Telco managed services deal outside of the US and Europe and has experience leading large workforces of up to 7000+ people. Prior to his most recent customer facing executive leadership roles, Darrin has been a significant contributor to the mobile communications industry through roles with the first Analogue mobile network builds in the late 80’s, its closure in Australia in 2000, the digital revolution and building the first Australian 3G solutions. Furthermore, Darrin is currently a company Director of Telstra iVision Pty Ltd, a wholly owned company within the Telstra group, which was created in April 2011 through combining the acquisition of iVision Pty Ltd and existing Telstra Corporation video and audio conferencing assets. Telstra iVision is today Australia’s leading business video and audio visual systems integrator and one of the top 3 providers in Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (double major in IT and Management) and an Associate Diploma of Electrical Engineering and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Darrin is an active leadership mentor and has been acknowledged by industry peers on the global stage for his knowledge and excellence in ICT services management and has been the Chair of an international Service Management forum.
