Erik Meijer

Biography

Erik Meijer is the President Director of telkomtelstra, an Indonesian joint venture between Telstra and PT Telkom Indonesia, and the Country Managing Director of Telstra in Indonesia. Erik is responsible for leading overall strategic growth and driving business development for telkomtelstra, in the Indonesian market. As the Country Managing Director of Telstra the country, he is also head of the local business operations and company culture. Prior to joining Telstra in December 2015, Erik played a strategic role in representing the brand and business of multinational telecommunications group Ooredoo in the Southeast Asia region. With more than 20 years of experience working across technology, media and telecommunications industries in Indonesia, Erik has held a number of senior leadership roles, including at Bakrie Telecom, Telkomsel and Indosat. Erik holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business & Management Studies from Hanze University of Applied Sciences.
