Rosanne Suarez

Biography

During a successful career in the finance sector, Rosanne was based in the US and managed operations for various multinational banking and equities brokerage corporations in New York, Hong Kong and the Philippines servicing retail and institutional clients. In 2007 Rosanne returned to the Philippines to set up a contact centre for a US based financial institution. Rosanne joined Telstra as employee number 2 in the Philippines in 2009. Rosanne has managed country functions and contact centre expansion programs of Telstra International Ltd. ROHQ, set up Telstra International Philippines Inc. (TIPI); Telstra’s first in-house contact centre outside of Australia, and set up Telstra Foundation Philippines (TFP); Telstra’s first foundation outside of Australia. Rosanne was involved in transforming the business operations of Telstra in the Philippines from a purely outsourced model to a hybrid outsource/in-house model through setting up TIPI. Rosanne was involved in the company’s $100M+ transformation journey from the development to the execution of the Project Pamilya business case including the implementation of a highly differentiated operation that is customer led, people focused and built in unique world class facilities. Today, the Telstra Foundation Philippines plays a critical role in demonstrating the commitment of Telstra to the community while enhancing Telstra’s brand and employee value proposition. The Foundation was recognized by the Department of Education for its significant contributions to education in various communities across the Philippines, as it continues to build its reach across the country. Rosanne has been integral in developing and implementing a strategy for growth and new business in the Philippines. She continues to support country management functions for Telstra’s various entities which include the contact centres, shared services, network and connectivity companies. She also leads Telstra’s Brilliant Connected Women in the Philippines to pave a way for Telstra’s local talent and women leaders.
