Career Experience 2007-2009: Research Fellow, NUSNNI, National University of Singapore (NUS) 2009-2016: Research Scientist, IMRE, A-STAR, Singapore 2016- : Professor, Institute of Advanced Materials, Nanjing Tech University Academic Achievements Prof GUO Hongchen is interested in industrial grade high precision surface nano-technology and system development, has been successively participated in or presided over many projects from the Singapore DSTA, A-STAR, and Singapore's Trade Ministry. Since 2010, Prof GUO has leaded the research group and been committed to industrial-grade nano-encapsulation technology development work, has developed the full aerodynamic atomic layer deposition technology and system which is used for hard disk internal fasteners to achieve the super clean, anticorrosion, and chromatographic identification. He has published more than 30 SCI articles. Prof GUO is now developing industrial-level packaging technology and system for flexible electronics, including flexible OLED and flexible PV.

Research Interests Thin film deposition technologies and their industrial applications; Industry level flexible material surface encapsulation; Surface and interface of inorganic/organic/polymeric materials.
