Biography
Biographical Information 2009-2012: PhD degree; Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 2012-2015: Post-Doc.; Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. 2015- : Institute of Advanced Materials, Nanjing Tech University. Academic Achievements Professor XIONG Weiwei synthesized the largest discrete supertetrahedral T5 clusters by the utilization of ionothermal method. He developed the surfactant-thermal method to prepare novel crystalline matel chalcogenides for the first time, and successfully encapsulated polymer chains inside the nano-channels of crystalline metal chalcogenides. In recent years, he has published 28 SCI papers on Journal of the American Chemical Society, AngewandteChemie-International Edition, Chemical Communications, Inorganic Chemistry, etc.
Research Interest
Research Interests Exploiting new synthetic methods for the preparation of crystalline functional materials/Design, synthesis and application of nanoparticles-porous coordination polymer composite materials.
