Biography
Doug Massih brings his clients more than 30 years of infrastructure leadership, including experience on transportation projects that have ranged up to $2 billion in value for public agencies and Fortune 500 companies. He has been instrumental in transforming TRC’s infrastructure business from a regional model to a fully integrated national practice that delivers results on large projects by maximizing resources from across the Company. In addition to overseeing notable growth in our Geotechnical Engineering and Drilling, Construction Engineering & Inspection, Materials Inspection and Transportation Design services, Doug initiated and manages TRC’s Public Private Partnership discipline to bring our clients creative solutions through alternative delivery methods. Doug’s consultative approach and technical knowledge are key to his successful leadership of TRC’s 500 professional infrastructure experts in finding creative solutions to the most pressing challenges our clients face. He also co-leads TRC’s own Excellence in Project Management program, which has graduated more than 1,000 of the Company’s rising leaders. Doug joined TRC in 2001 during the acquisition of SITE-Blauvelt Engineers, a firm that he helped grow and expand from 65 professionals to over 250 while leading projects including the very first Public Private Partnership project in Virginia to ultimately build the $300M Pocahontas Parkway. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
