Biography
Xiaobing Zou received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1991 and 2003, respectively. From 2003 to 2005 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University. He is currently a Professor with the State Key Laboratory of Power System, Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, and doing research on pulsed-power technology, gas-discharge plasma, Z-pinch plasma, X-pinch plasma, and high voltage technology. He was awarded the prize of National Excellent Doctorial Dissertation of China (2006), the excellent post doctoral fellow of Tsinghua University (2006), and the second prize of Natural Science Award, National Ministry of Education (2011). He has been the PI of more than 20 academic and industrial projects, and has more than 100 research papers in peer-reviewed top ranked journals (more than 40 papers indexed by SCI) and top class international conference.
