Research Interest
Cancer is a worldwide human health threat. In China, the incidence of cancer is rapidly rising in recent years. When the tumor incidence in situ, the cure rate and survival probability of patients is very high, but when the spread of tumor cells to other body tissues and organs when the key (cancer metastasis), the patient's survival is expected to be greatly reduced. Cancer cells that metastasize to other tissues are often less sensitive to traditional chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Recent studies have found that the tumor microenvironment (tumor surrounding normal tissue structure and tissue cells) have a great effect on metastasis and resistance of cancer. The use of advanced mouse models, bioinformatics analysis, and traditional cellular and molecular biology, I would go to the laboratory revealed a tumor cell - cell interactions important function of tissues in cancer metastasis and drug resistance of. These new discoveries can help us design more effective cancer treatments to inhibit cancer metastasis and reduce cancer resistance. 1.
