Biography
Dr. Xiao got her Ph. D degree from Sichuan University in China with a major in Physical Chemistry. After her graduation, she was offered an assistant professor position in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2004, and became an associate professor there since July 2006. From September 2006 to September 2007, Dr. Xiao visited Prof. Luming Wang’s research group at Michigan University and Dr. William Weber’s research group at Pacific Northwest National Lab (PNNL) as a visiting scholar. From June 2009 to December 2013, she worked at PNNL and University of Tennessee as a postdoctoral researcher and research assistant professor. From December 2013 to now, Dr. Xiao has been a professor at UESTC. Dr. Xiao has published more than 100 journal papers, and she is the first author of 40. Currently she has an h-index of 18.
