Biography
Isabelle CHOU is Associate Professor at the Department of Translation, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China where she joint in 2016. Her research interests center on empirical and experimental translation studies focuses on translation process/product interface, corpus-based translation ethics studies, corpus-based interpreting studies; Corpus technologies and translator/interpreter training and translation expertise studies.Professor Chou obtained her PhD at Chinese University of Hong Kong where she has also received an MA and an MPhil. She is also an experienced trilingual simultaneous interpreter (English, Mandarin and Cantonese)and has worked for Hong Kong governments, Canadian Consulate and Google, Channel, and BMW.
