Biography
Juan Chen received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Bradford, UK, in 2009. She is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. She has worked on several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and published 29 articles in premier journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Chen is an editorial board member of International Journal of Biometrics and Bioinformatics, and served on the program committee of several international conferences. She was awarded the Excellent Teacher of the Year, in School of Computer Science and Engineering, in 2011.
