Biography
Liu Yong received the Master’s degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree from Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2004. In 2003, he was awarded an IEEE/LEOS (now called IEEE Photonics) Graduate Student Fellowship. Since 2007, he worked as a professor in University of Electronic Science & Technology of China. He has (co) authored more than 200 journal and conference papers. These publications have been cited more than 1200 times (Web of Science). He received Chinese National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2009 and Chinese Chang Jiang Scholar in 2013. Education experience: Liu Yong obtained Bachelor and Master degree at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. In 2000, he went to Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, for his Ph.D. program, and received Ph.D. degree in 2004.
