Biography
Dr. Xia Xiang is currently a Professor at School of Physical Electronics, the University of Electronic Science and Techonology of China (UESTC). She received her Ph.D. in Optics from UESTC at 2008. During her Ph.D. study, she visited as research associates at the University of MIchigan and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in USA. She also visited as a senior research scientist at the University of New South Wales in Sydney in Australia in 2016.
Research Interest
Her research interests include understanding, designing, fabricating and characterizing advanced nanostructures and physical properties of insulator materials with novel functionalities, interaction between laser and ion beams with materials, surface modification of optical materials and films used for the high power laser facilities.
