Biography
Yanli Ji, Ph.D, Associate professor. Her research interests include multiple directions in Human Robot Interaction for social robots, i.e. human activity recognition, human skeleton extraction, hand gesture recognition,Emotion recognition and eye gazing estimation, etc. She has directed and undertaken 12 research projects, including 4 natural science foundation of China, and some horizontal cooperation projects. Accumulated funds of these projects are more than 6.6 million RBM. She has published 15 papers, including 4 papers in SCI and 11 papers in EI, and one paper was awarded ‘IEEE Region 10 WIE Best Paper Award’. She applied for 10 invention patents in domestic. For professional activities, she was the Registration Chair of ICME 2014, and the Conference Secretary of VALSE 2015. And she is VALSE Online Committee Member, IEEE, ACM and CCF member, etc.
