Biography
Dr. ZHANG received his Ph.D. degree from Cleveland State University (Cleveland, Ohio, USA) in 2003. He did postdoctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Cleveland, Ohio, USA) from 2001-2004. He is a registered PE(Professional Engineer in the state of Ohio). He joined University of Electronic Science and Technology (UESTC),School of Life Science and Technology in January 2008 after working and studying in United States for 10 years(1997.9-2008.1). He invented a method to design and manufature personalized insole for diabetic foot patients using CAD/CAM technique(US patent 7206718). He was awarded innovation award for designing and automated system for preparing radioactive stent for treating lung cancer patients in 2004.
