Biography
Zhenyuan Zhang (S’12-M’16) received the B.S. degree from Chang’an University, Xi’an, China, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, USA, in 2007 and 2015, respectively. He is currently an associate professor of the School of Energy Science and Engineering in University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His focus lies in smart grids and arc flash research, but he has also been involved in hybrid energy storage, renewable energy, electrical safety analysis, power systems analysis and power market researches. Since 2010 he has served as the project associate for the IEEE/NFPA Arc Flash Research Project.
