Biography

Shu-rong Zhao Ph.D（D.O.B. 08/03/1966, Female) is a professor at School of Political Science and Public Administration of UESTC with research focus on Comparative studies on Governance, Comparative Politics and Government, Public Policy as well as Strategic Management in the context of globalization. She holds a Ph.D in Business Management from Sichuan University in 2008, LL.M in International Politics from UESTC in 2004 and B.A. with honors in English Literature from Sichuan International Studies University in 1987. She researched at University of Warwick , UK as a visiting scholar from 2007-2008.She serves as the director of Western Africa Reserach Center of UESTC. Since 2005, she is the Executive Chairperson of International Conference on Public Administration (ICPA), a role that includes acting as the Executive Editor in Chief of Proceedings of International Conference on Public Administration, whose proceedings have been collected by ISI Web of Knowledge -ISSHP since 2005 ICPA annually, as well as leading and organizing ICPA, which “has gradually developed into a worldwide academic event with large scale, high level influence in the international field of public administration”(cited from PA Times January 2011 by American Society for Public Administration-ASPA). She serves as the Associate Editor in Chief of Management Science journal (Core journal in China).
