Biography
Wenhua obtained his Medical Degree and M. Sc. in Pharmacology at Zhongshan (Sun Yat-sen) University of Medical Science in Guangzhou China, and a Ph. D. in the Departments of Pharmacology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Wenhua was Awarded several post-doctoral research training positions in prestigious research institutes and universities around the world (Visiting Fellow the NIH 1993-96, Visiting Scientist at University of Rochester, NY in 92 and Post-Doctoral Fellow at McGill University in 1996). He became a professor at Sun Yat-sen University in 2006. In 2015, Wenhua joined the Faculty of Health Science at University of Macau

His main research interests include Neuro- and ocular pharmacology Alzheimer's disease new drug developments
