Biography
Dr. Watters is an Assistant Professor in Business Law and Corporate Governance at Nottingham Business School China. Before joining NUBS China, he was the Yong Pung How Research Fellow at Singapore Management University School of Law’s Centre for Cross-Border Commercial Law in Asia (“CEBCLA”). Dr Watters completed a JD at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law before joining the California bar and subsequently completed a PhD at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research is focused on commercial law, where his has published on corporate insolvency, bankruptcy, cross-border insolvency, mergers & acquisitions and piercing the corporate veil
