Biography
Dr Juan Wang joined the University of Nottingham Ningbo as an Assistant Professor in 2013. She holds BEng degree from Sichuan University. In 2006, she went to the University of Nottingham for postgraduate study. She obtained MSc degree in 2007, and received PhD degree in 2011. After that, she worked as a research fellow in the area of Transportation Geotechnics while teaching Geotechnics in the University of Nottingham. She gained a China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship in 2007 and participated in an EPSRC funded project in 2012. In 2014, she was granted a fund by NSFC and was selected into an innovation team under the Ningbo 3315 Talent Program. She also won an open fund from the State Key Laboratory for Geomechanics and Deep Underground Engineering.
Research Interest
Shakedown analysis in transportation geotechnics; Stress path testing; Structural design of flexible pavements; Stability analysis of offshore structures.
