Biography
Nuno Bernardo started his design career at the Escola Superior de Artes e Design – ESAD/IPLeiria in 2003 and obtained his Bachelor in Industrial Design in 2006. The following year he joined the Nottingham Trent University, obtaining a Bachelor in Computer Aided Product design in 2008. Soon after graduating he started worked in interior and exterior design for Creative Centers as a junior 3d designer / visualizer, developing photorealistic project imagery. In the beginning of 2009 he moved to Amsterdam NL joining the studio practice of Satyendra Pakhale where he was involved in several exciting products for companies like Moroso, Alessi, Hästens, and TOD’s among others. Moved to Valencia ES in 2010 and started working for Yonoh – Estudio Creativo developing product design concepts and models for a wide range of applications. In 2011 he obtained his Masters degree in Advanced Product Design Engineering and soon after started working as a prototype designer and industrial design consultant for the toy design studio M2P – Make2Play, designing and developing various products for the EU market. Following a successful period in the private sector he decided to experiment and pursue a career in education which soon became a passionate experience.
