Biography
Defense is the obstacle to change, innovation, and cooperation. My research focuses on how individuals’ defense of their self-worth influences their self-management, performance, and well-being. I also investigate how to communicate organizational change to overcome individuals’ defense of their social systems. My research has been applied to my consulting services for government (Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission),incubators (e.g., Accelerator Centre of Waterloo, Canada), multinational companies (e.g. Danone), domestic companies (e.g., Nuctech Company Limited), and start-up companies (e.g., Data Tellit Inc.).
