Biography
Dr Xiaoling Liu graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2014, and then joined Ningbo campus in 2015, after working as visiting researcher in National University of Singapore. Her main research area is polymer composite, including novel bioresorbable glass fibre composite for biomedical applications, lightweight structure in marine, automobile and aerospace; new processing techniques of polymer composite, etc. Since join the University, she has working as PI or Co-PI in several funding schemes, and built two composite labs for research as well as undergraduate teaching. She has also been engaging with business development for Sino-UK relations, knowledge transfer activities.
