Biography
Dr Xiuping Hua obtained her PhD degree in Finance from the University of Sheffield Management School (UK). She joined The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China in September 2010. Prior to joining The University of Nottingham, she had worked as a research fellow at a prestigious Chinese non-governmental think tank in Economics and Finance, China Finance 40 Forum. Dr Hua’s interests include asset pricing, derivatives, and China’s financial markets. She has published articles in both academic journals and practitioners, such as the Journal of International Money and Finance, the European Journal of Finance, Economic Modelling, China Daily, and so on.
