Biography
Yi was Research Fellow of Tourism at Sheffield Hallam University (UK) for four years prior to joining the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Her research focuses on tourism policy-making, cultural tourism interpretation, and sustainable tourism planning. She received her PhD in Sheffield Hallam University in the area of “Tourism Policy Networks and Tourism Development in China” and is awarded “Overseas Research Scholarship” by the Higher Education Funding Council of Britain. Recently, she is appointed as “Chinese Abstract Editor” for Journal of Sustainable Tourism, which has an ABS one star rating. Yi is also working actively in international conferences. She has organised a few international conferences, and is participated as Scientific Committee Member for many conferences.
