Biography
Dr. Guobiao Lin is an Associate Professor, working in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at USTB. He holds an AB. in material science from Central South University, a M.Ed. and a Ph.D. in material science from USTB. As a visiting scholar, he had studied in the Ohio State University for six months in 2013. His research focuses are now on metallurgy,microstructure and properties. Before joined USTB in 2006, he had ever worked at Central South University engaging the production technology of hard alloys as well as at Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgyas a researcher to study permanent magnetic materials.

Metallic solidification and processing, Metallurgy, Brazing, Fabrication of surface composite layers and surface treatment, Materials heat treatment, Alloyed steels, Copper alloy excellent in both strength and conductivity, Magnetic materials, Cemented carbides and so on.
