Biography
Dr. Shouguo WANG is the Professor of magnetic materials and magnetism in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at USTB. He holds a BSc. in applied physics from the department of physics at the Anhui University and a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. After receiving his Ph. D in 2001, Dr. Wang carried out his research in the National University of Singapore, the Max-Planck-Institute of Microstructure Physics in Germany, and the University of Oxford, respectively. At the end of 2007, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Magnetism at the Institute of Physics, CAS. In December 2015, he moves to the USTB and establishes the group with a focus on the spintronic materials, physics and devices. Currently, he is the secretary-general of the Applied Magnetics Society at the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE).
