Biography
Dr. Hong Zhang is the Associate Professor of Materials Processing Engineering of the Department of Materials Processing and Control Engineering at USTB. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Processing Engineering Studies from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. She worked at North Carolina State University in US as a research scholar between 2012 and 2013.

Nano metal-matrix composites. Weight-light alloys, Copper alloys; Steel. Solidification; Metal deformation. Processing-microstructure-property relations.
