Biography
Po Bian, born in 1973, male, Professor. He obtained the PHD in Zhengzhou University in 2003, then postdoctor in CAS in 2005. Now he serves as a research professor in the Key Lab of Ion Beam Bioengineering, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, CAS. In recent years, some research papers have been published in some main journals, such as Radiation Research and Mutation Research. He has worked on some projects funded by the National Nature Science Foundation, Ministry of Sciences and Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been authorized as an academic advisor for master and doctor students majoring in Biology and Physics.
Research Interest
Interaction between ionizing radiation and organisms in vivo, in which the targeted, non-targeted radiation effects (including genetics and epi-genetics) and underling molecular mechanisms are investigated using the model plant Arabidopsis Thaliana and model animal C.elegans.
