Biography
Hua is presently working as a Professor for the department of Chemistry at University of science and technology, china.
Research Interest
Our research interests are chemiluminescence (CL) and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) and their applications to immunoassays and nucleic acid analysis in the fields such as public health, food safety, environmental monitoring and so on. Current work focuses on the investigation of metal nanoparticle - initiated CL/ECL systems, the development of novel luminescence functionalized nanoprobes, signal amplification strategies and methodologies for ultrasensitive CL and ECL bioassays and their applications to early diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening diseases (such as tuberculosis, acute myocardial infarction, and cancer etc.), and assessment of food safety.
