Biography
Gao Yun, a native of Tongling, Anhui Province, has been selected into the Program for Introducing Foreign Outstanding Talents (also known as the Hundred Talents Program) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) (from December 2002 to December 2005). Gao is mainly engaged in the research of Lie algebra, quantum groups and representation theory. Gao has published over 30 research papers in overseas journals, including two monographs of the American Mathematical Society.
