Biography
Hu Sen is a native of Sixian County, Anhui Province. He was selected into the Program for Introducing Foreign Outstanding Talents (also known as the Hundred Talents Program) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2000. Hu has been working as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) since 2001. He also serves as the executive director of the Institute of Mathematics of USTC. Prof. Hu has undertaken important projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the third phase of the Knowledge Innovation Project of the CAS. Professor Hu is currently engaged in the research of string theory.
Research Interest
His current research interest mainly concerns the string compactifications with fluxes and generalized Calabi-Yau moduli space.
