Biography
Prof. LI Jiayu was selected into “Hundred Talents Program†of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and earned "Distinguished Young Scholar" from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has made significant progress in the field of Geometric Analysis. In the hard research on Compactness and Singularity of Solution to Nonlinear Equations, he researched stable harmonic maps in general conditions, got the singularity formula concerning weak limit and energy concentration set. He proposed and illustrated necessary and sufficient condition for stability of weak limit thus carried the problem one step further.
Research Interest
He constructed a new evolution equation to study the existence of the minimal surface and proved Narasimhan-Seshadriã€Donaldsonã€Uhlenbeck-Qiu Chengtong theorem in Non- Compactness situation. He got Chern Number Inequalities in Stable parabolic plexus, which is the base of Moduli space.
